Toward a New Story of Money—Three-day money program series Indra’s Rainbow –IONS Community Group Topic: How do we transform our relationship with money? Place: Interfaith Community Church, 1763 NW 62nd St Date: Tuesday, October 21st Time: 6:30-9:30pm Suggested Donation: $5 Our gathering this month will be the last in a three-part series about money: 1) Wallingford Meaningful Movies “MoneyFix” on Fri, Oct 17th; 2) Cecile Andrews’ Simplicity Gathering “ Money and Happiness” on Mon, Oct 20th. Former IONS Vice Chair, Lynne Twist writes, “redesigning our relationship with money will be the key that transforms the condition of life, both physical and spiritual, for all of us in the twenty-first century.” At our gathering, we will explore personal, social and spiritual aspects of money, including topics such as the disparity between rich and poor, the notion of scarcity vs sufficiency, alternative currencies, etc. We will also share personal life stories around money, how money shaped us. |
