Date: Tuesday, March 25, 2008 Time: 7:00-9:15pm; Social time and tea starts at 6:30pm Suggested Donation: $5 The mission of the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) is " to explore the frontiers of consciousness to advance individual, social, and global transformation." At this gathering, we will inquire into the notion of ‘community’ as expressed by various IONS thinkers, and explore how critical ‘community building’ is to consciously advance personal and collective transformation--creating a model that works for all. Cecile Andrews, our local community luminary, will be our guest facilitator. Meet other like-minded people and share your personal stories about what ‘community’ means to you. She is a founder of Phinney EcoVillage, an urban neighborhood project working for community and sustainability, helping people live "simpler, slower, and smaller."
